The roof has to take 18 kg per square metre. We check that before we quote, and if a structural engineer has to look at it, that is €450 and it is theirs, not ours.

A quote nobody can compare is not a quote.

Ours names the panel, the inverter, the number of panels and the price per installed kilowatt-peak. If a competitor will not, that is the answer to the question you were about to ask them.

The pale band is what the survey predicted for a clear July day. The line is what your roof actually did.

612 kWh against a predicted 588. Reported either way; three of our roofs are running under and they can see that too.

If a string drops

We call you, not the other way round

A panel string that stops reporting raises a ticket with us the same hour. Nine times in ten it is the inverter wifi.

Warranty

25 years, and we hold the paperwork

Two claims since 2014, both settled by us with the manufacturer. You never spoke to them.

A quote that says “high-efficiency panels” is a quote you cannot compare. Ours names the model, the wattage and the warranty, and the price per installed kilowatt-peak is on the same line.

A row of Rotterdam terraced roofs seen from a ladder, with panels installed flush along the south-west pitch.
The Delfshaven roof came in 4% over the estimate, which happens when the survey is conservative about the chimney shadow. We report both numbers either way.

Three ways to pay for it

Figures for a 9.8 kWp house install, July 2026

Cash

€9,340

Paid on switch-on, not before. The VAT on a house install is 0% in the Netherlands, so the price you see is the price you pay.

Payback 6.8 years at current tariffs

Bank loan

€96 / month

Ten years at 4.1% through a green loan. The monthly repayment is usually under what the panels take off the bill from month one.

We do not arrange it and take no commission

Business lease

€214 / month

For commercial roofs. Fully deductible, and the EIA scheme covers 40% of the investment in the first year if you file it.

Minimum 20 kWp · five-year term

What we turn down

Said before the survey, not after

Four jobs we say no to. Every one of them is a job somebody else in this city will quote for, and every one of them ends with a roof that does not pay for itself.

North-facing pitches

Under 20° we will look. Above that the yield does not carry the scaffolding.

Roofs with under ten years left

Panels outlive tiles. Re-roof first, then call us; taking them down and back up costs more than waiting.

Batteries, for now

At Dutch tariffs a home battery does not pay back inside its warranty. We will say so again next year.

Anything we cannot reach in a day

We work Zuid-Holland only. One crew, ours, and they sleep at home.
